One can transform a small fable into a modern example by identifying the universal moral or lesson within the fable and finding a contemporary situation that reflects the same principle. For example, if the fable teaches the importance of honesty, one can find a modern story or news article that illustrates the consequences of dishonesty. By drawing parallels between the timeless moral of the fable and a current event or situation, one can effectively transform the fable into a modern example that resonates with today's audience. **

By using familiar words and settings, fables can effectively convey their lessons in a way that is accessible and relatable to a wide audience. **
